Colts Cam Taylor-Britt Suspended One Game

The NFL has suspended Indianapolis Colts cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt for one game after determining he violated the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.

Taylor-Britt will be eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games before serving the suspension in Week 1. He can return to the team after completing the suspension.

The veteran cornerback signed with Indianapolis earlier this offseason after spending the first four years of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals. The move reunited him with former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, who is now leading the Colts’ defense.

The suspension comes several months after Taylor-Britt pleaded guilty in a reckless driving case stemming from a September traffic stop. He was sentenced to five days in jail after being charged with multiple traffic-related offenses.

Now entering his first season with the Colts, Taylor-Britt will miss the regular season opener before becoming eligible to return in Week 2.
