The New England Patriots are sending OL Caedan Wallace to an AFC East rival after initially planning to release the former 3rd-round pick.
New England traded Wallace and a 2029 7th-round pick to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2028 6th-round pick, the teams announced Monday.

Wallace was selected by New England with the No. 68 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft after playing at Penn State.
The 26-year-old appeared in 10 games with two starts during his two seasons with the Patriots. Both starts came at left tackle during his rookie season, but his role decreased significantly in 2025, when he played just eight snaps.
