Colts STC Brian Mason Suffers Knee Injury in Sideline Collision

Colts special teams coordinator Brian Mason found himself on the wrong end of a brutal collision during the final play of Thursday night’s preseason game against the Patriots.

The collision rolled up Mason’s leg and immediately left him in significant pain.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen confirmed after the game that Mason was being evaluated for a knee injury.

“He got rolled up right on the sideline that last play,” Steichen said. “So we’ll see. He’s getting evaluated for his knee right now.”
