Giants QB Jaxson Dart Could Miss Rest of Season

Dart will miss significant time after an MRI revealed his knee injury was worse than initially believed.

The Giants could be without Jaxson Dart for the rest of the 2026 season after an MRI revealed his knee injury was more severe than initially anticipated, according to Ian Rapoport.

Dart suffered the injury during Monday night’s loss to the Rams after getting sandwiched between two defenders. He immediately grabbed his left knee and was evaluated in the medical tent before limping to the locker room.

Initial exams were optimistic, with Dart believed to have a sprained MCL and X-rays coming back negative. However, Tuesday’s MRI revealed the injury was worse than the Giants initially anticipated.

The exact diagnosis and recovery timeline have not yet been reported, and head coach John Harbaugh will address the media shortly.
