Commanders Sign Veteran LT D.J. Humphries

The Commanders have signed veteran left tackle D.J. Humphries to a 1-year contract, following Laremy Tunsil’s torn triceps.

Humphries worked out for Washington earlier Tuesday before agreeing to the deal. The 32-year-old brings starting experience to the Commanders with 101 career starts, most of which came during his time with the Cardinals.

Arizona selected Humphries in the 1st-round of the 2015 Draft out of Florida.

The Cardinals released Humphries during the 2024 offseason, and he later spent time with the Chiefs before joining the Rams for the 2025 season.
