DANIEL JONES MINICAMP DRILLS

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has been participating in 7-on-7 drills during team practices for nearly a month. However, as the team’s offseason program concludes this week, he won’t be taking on any additional activities.

On Tuesday, Head Coach Brian Daboll announced that Jones, who is recovering from a torn ACL, will not be involved in full team drills during this week’s mandatory minicamp.

“We’ll keep him out of team drills and continue the rehab process,” Daboll said via SNY. “He’s exactly where he needs to be in his recovery, but for the team drills, we’ll hold him out for the next few days to ensure he’s ready for training camp.”

When asked about Jones’ readiness for training camp, Daboll confirmed that the quarterback is “making progress” towards being fully cleared. He also mentioned that Jones intends to organize workouts with his teammates before camp begins to maintain his progress during this otherwise slow period in the team’s schedule.
