Adonai Mitchell Heads Towards Breakout Season

The Colts might be regretting trading Adonai Mitchell, as the receiver has been a head turner at training camp entering Year 3.
AD had found himself on the Colts bad side after hauling in a 75-yard TD but dropping the ball before crossing the goal line, leading to limited playing time and being traded just weeks later.
In 8 games (2025) with the Colts, AD recorded 9 catches for 152 yards and 0 TDs, and in the following 8 games with the Jets, posted 24 catches for 301 yards and 2 TDs.
The numbers don’t jump off the page, but Mitchell had double the production in a brand new scheme. Given an offseason to acclimate, he’s the favorite to start Week 1 as the team’s WR2.
After never really getting a chance in Indianapolis, this move to New York might end up being the best thing that ever happened to him.
