Ravens CB Nate Wiggins Carted Off

The Baltimore Ravens are awaiting test results on CB Nate Wiggins after a scary injury forced him to be carted off the practice field.

Wiggins suffered an apparent left leg/knee injury during 1-on-1 drills against WR Ja’Kobi Lane. The two got tangled up while Wiggins was covering a deep ball, causing the Ravens cornerback to land awkwardly.

Wiggins was reportedly in significant pain following the play and couldn’t put any weight on his left leg while being helped into the team facility.

Despite the concerning scene, the Ravens received some encouraging news, with Head coach Jesse Minter saying there is optimism that Wiggins avoided a major injury, although Baltimore won’t know the full extent until testing is completed.

“Don’t have a ton of information on that yet. We’ll kinda get it looked at, see where it’s at,” Minter said.
