Rams WR Davante Adams Expected to Miss 6-10 Weeks With Ruptured Hamstring
LA's disappointing start to the season has become even more challenging following Adams' injury.
The Rams have suffered another major setback, as WR Davante Adams is expected to miss 6-10 weeks after suffering a ruptured tendon in his knee, according to HC Sean McVay.
Adams suffered the injury late in Sunday’s 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. While running a route in the end zone, Adams pulled up without making contact with another player, immediately grabbing his left knee before limping off the field.
The receiver has been one of LA’s top offensive weapons this season, recording 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns through six games.
With Adams sidelined, WR Puka Nacua could see an increased workload. Nacua has recorded 37 receptions for 417 yards and 1 touchdown in four games this season, after missing two games with a hip injury.
The injury comes at a rough time for the Rams, after falling to 2-4 following consecutive losses. The Rams will now have to navigate through a significant portion of the rest of the season without Adams.
