Dolphins Acquire QB Kyle McCord From Packers
Miami adds a new backup behind Malik Willis after trading Quinn Ewers to Jacksonville earlier Sunday.
The Dolphins are acquiring QB Kyle McCord from the Packers in exchange for a 2028 6th-round pick, per Adam Schefter.

The trade comes just after McCord threw a game-winning TD to take down the Cardinals in Green Bay’s final preseason game. McCord completed 22 of 35 passes for 267 yards and 4 TDs in the win.
The Eagles selected McCord in the 6th round of the 2025 NFL Draft before he joined Green Bay this offseason.
Miami needed another quarterback after trading Quinn Ewers to the Jaguars earlier Sunday. McCord will now head to the Dolphins to back up Malik Willis, giving Miami two former Packers QBs heading into Week 1.
