Cowboys Sign Veteran OL Laken Tomlinson
Dallas adds Laken to its offensive line as Tyler Smith heads to IR.
The Cowboys have signed veteran offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson to their practice squad, according to multiple reports.
Dallas is currently adjusting its offensive line ahead of Week 1. Nick Leverett is being elevated to the 53-man roster, while Tyler Smith is heading to injured reserve after undergoing thumb surgery.
Tomlinson brings plenty of experience to Dallas. The former 1st-round pick has started 162 of his 173 career games while spending time with the Lions, 49ers, Jets, Seahawks, and Texans.
Detroit selected Tomlinson with the 28th overall pick in the 2015 draft before trading him to San Francisco in 2017. He went on to spend 5 seasons with the 49ers before later playing for the Jets, Seahawks and Texans.
In 2025, Tomlinson appeared in 7 games for Houston, starting all 7.
