Brock Bowers Expected to Miss Time After Undergoing Meniscus Procedure
Las Vegas will open the season without one of its biggest offensive weapons after Brock Bowers underwent a procedure on his knee this week.
The Raiders are expected to be without TE Brock Bowers for the start of the 2026 season after he underwent a meniscus trim on Tuesday, per Adam Schefter.
Bowers is expected to miss “a game or two” while recovering from the procedure. He reportedly got banged up during training camp, with the injury being diagnosed last week before surgery was scheduled.
The timing leaves Las Vegas without its All-Pro tight end for Sunday’s season opener against the Dolphins. The Raiders will then travel to face the Chargers in Week 2.
It is another frustrating knee setback for Bowers after he played through a PCL injury for much of last season before eventually finishing the year on IR.
Las Vegas is also monitoring RB Ashton Jeanty, who is working his way back from a sprained ankle. The Raiders are hopeful Jeanty can play Sunday, which would give QB Kirk Cousins another major piece of the offense even with Bowers sidelined.
