Ravens Finalizing Trade for Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett
Baltimore adds a new face after losing Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley due to injuries.
The Ravens are set to acquire QB Jacoby Brissett from the Cardinals, per Adam Schefter. The deal is expected to be completed after Thursday’s primetime matchup between Baltimore and Jacksonville.
Baltimore is making the move after losing Lamar Jackson to a thumb injury and Tyler Huntley to a season-ending turf toe injury.
The Cardinals benched Brissett this past week after Gardner Minshew led Arizona to a 33-30 overtime victory over the Cowboys, overcoming a 14-point deficit.
Minshew completed 17 of 23 passes for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns, earning the starting job for Week 9 against the Seahawks.
Brissett now heads to Baltimore and is expected to make his Ravens debut in Week 10 against the Chargers on Monday night.
