Bears Sign D’Andre Swift to 3-Year, $33.75M Extension
D’Andre Swift has earned the 3rd NFL contract of his career after spending the last 2 seasons in Chicago.
The Chicago Bears have locked up running back D’Andre Swift for the foreseeable future.
Swift and the Bears have agreed to a 3-year, $33.75M contract extension that includes $27.5M guaranteed, according to Adam Schefter.
Swift was originally drafted with the No. 35 overall pick in the 2020 Draft by the Lions.
He spent his first 3 seasons in Detroit before joining the Eagles in 2023. Swift then signed with Chicago in 2024 and has remained with the Bears.
Over 89 career games, Swift has recorded 1,069 carries for 4,775 rushing yards and 38 rushing TDs. Swift has also been a dual-threat in the passing game, adding 271 receptions for 2,097 receiving yards and 9 receiving TDs.
