Browns Release WR Cedric Tillman

The Browns are releasing wide receiver Cedric Tillman, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Tillman was selected by Cleveland with the 74th overall pick in the 3rd round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Tennessee. He appeared in 38 games during his three seasons with the Browns, recording 71 receptions for 833 yards and 5 touchdowns.

The 26-year-old caught 21 passes for 270 yards and 2 touchdowns during the 2025 season and entered training camp competing for a spot in a revamped Cleveland receiver room.

The Browns invested their first two picks of the 2026 Draft at receiver, selecting KC Concepcion in the 1st round and Denzel Boston in the 2nd round. Both rookies impressed throughout training camp.

Tillman was entering the final year of his rookie contract and will now hit the open market ahead of the regular season.
