Missouri State Announces Football Facility Upgrades
The Bears announce an overall of the football facilities.
Missouri State is moving quickly to build on the momentum from its inaugural FBS season.
After finishing 7-6 in its first year in Conference USA and earning a trip to the Xbox Bowl, the Bears unveiled an ambitious athletics “master plan” that will significantly upgrade the program’s football facilities over the coming years.
Plans include a new team locker room, an expanded weight room, updated athletic training and recovery areas, equipment and laundry space, coaches’ offices, and the reopening of the tunnel connecting McDonald Arena directly to Robert W. Plaster Stadium.
Future phases of the project include renovations to Plaster Stadium with premium seating and suite options, upgraded fan areas, a new entrance plaza, and the construction of a dedicated indoor practice facility.
Missouri State officials said fundraising has progressed to the point where construction is expected to begin in the coming months, with the goal of completing the first phase before the start of the 2027 football season.
