The Panthers are adding another veteran weapon to their offense, signing tight end Darren Waller, per Adam Schefter.
Waller returned to the NFL last season after spending the entire 2024 season in retirement. He joined the Dolphins for the 2025 season and appeared in nine games, recording 24 receptions for 283 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Waller has previously spent time with the Ravens, Raiders, Giants and Dolphins during his NFL career. His best stretch came with the Raiders, where he developed into one of the league’s top receiving tight ends, earning a Pro Bowl nod.
