Panthers re-sign J.J. Jansen

The Panthers are keeping a legend around. Long snapper J.J. Jansen is returning on a one-year deal for his 18th season.

Having turned 40 in January, Jansen remains Carolina’s longest-tenured player, with a franchise record 277 games played. If he plays all 17 games next year, he’ll surpass Marcedes Lewis (290) and Calais Campbell (278) for the most games played by an active player.

The legacy of Jansen continues.
