Seahawks Sign Leonard Williams to $90M Extension

The Seahawks have agreed to a 3-year, $90M extension with defensive lineman Leonard Williams, according to Ian Rapoport. The deal includes $56M guaranteed, per Ian Rapoport

Williams was entering the final year of the 3-year, $64.5M contract he signed with Seattle in 2024.

The 32-year-old has recorded 18 sacks, 25 tackles for loss and 50 quarterback hits across the last two regular seasons. Williams finished the 2025 season with 7 sacks, 9 tackles for loss and 22 quarterback hits while appearing in all 17 games.

Seattle originally traded for Williams from the Giants during the 2023 season. He has since appeared in 43 games for the Seahawks, totaling 22 sacks, 34 tackles for loss and 61 quarterback hits.

Williams was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2015 Draft and has also played for the Jets and Giants. Through 175 career games, the 3-time Pro Bowler has recorded 61.5 sacks, 93 tackles for loss and 223 quarterback hits.

If Leonard Williams plays out the entirety of this contract, he will have earned over $250M in his career.

The Seahawks signing Williams continues Seattle’s trend of handing out major extensions this offseason.
