TreVeyon Henderson Shares Health Update After Being Hospitalized
Henderson remains sidelined as he works with specialists to regain his strength and coordination.
Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson has revealed that he was recently hospitalized for several days after experiencing an unexpected medical emergency involving neurological symptoms.
The 24-year-old released a statement Friday explaining that the symptoms have affected his strength, coordination, and certain physical functions. Despite extensive medical testing, doctors have yet to determine the cause.
“I will continue working closely with specialists and physical therapists to focus on my recovery, as these symptoms have affected my strength, coordination, and some of my physical functions,” Henderson said in his statement. “I am committed to doing everything necessary to return to full health. My health and long-term well-being remain my foremost priorities.”
Henderson has not practiced since being listed with an illness on October 29 and missed New England’s Week 8 game over the Dolphins.
The former Ohio State standout has already dealt with multiple setbacks this season, including ankle injuries that limited his availability and production.
Through 6 games in 2026, Henderson has recorded 203 rushing yards and 1 touchdown on 52 carries, along with 5 receptions for 45 yards.
There is currently no timetable for Henderson’s return, and his availability for Sunday’s matchup against the Packers appears doubtful.
