Vikings Sign RB Jermar Jefferson, Waive Jordan Mims
The Vikings add a former NFC North rival to their backfield.
Minnesota made a change to its running back room Wednesday, signing Jermar Jefferson and waiving Jordan Mims.
Jefferson worked out for the Vikings on Monday and had also worked out for several other teams leading up to the signing, including NFC North rival Green Bay.
The former 7th-round pick appeared in two games for the Cardinals in 2025 but did not log any carries.
Since entering the league in 2021, Jefferson has appeared in nine games, recording 21 carries for 96 yards and two TDs.
Mims is now a free agent after spending the 2025 season on the Titans practice squad. He signed with the 49ers in May before being released on June 10.
