Vikings WR Jeshaun Jones Suspended Three Games

Minnesota receiver Jeshaun Jones has been suspended for the first three games of the 2026 NFL season for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Jones is currently competing for a spot on Minnesota’s initial 53-man roster. He will still be allowed to practice this week and participate in the Vikings’ preseason finale before the three-game suspension begins.

Jones originally joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 Draft and has spent most of his first two NFL seasons on the practice squad.

The 26-year-old made his NFL debut late last season after being elevated from the practice squad for Minnesota’s Week 18 matchup against the Packers. Jones contributed on special teams, returning two punts for five yards.

Before entering the NFL, Jones spent six seasons at Maryland and finished his college career with 151 receptions for 2,040 yards and 14 receiving touchdowns across 48 games.
