Colts WR Keenan Allen Arrested in Indianapolis

Colts WR Keenan Allen was arrested early Sunday morning in downtown Indianapolis on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Allen, 34, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated with an ACE of .08 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing endangerment. The charges are Class C and Class A misdemeanors.
According to IMPD, officers encountered Allen around 1 a.m. while conducting a traffic investigation in the 100 block of South Meridian Street.
Police said the investigation began after officers noticed a vehicle parked in a no-parking zone. Officers reportedly noticed signs of intoxication after coming into contact with Allen, leading to his arrest following further investigation.
Allen was later booked at the Marion County Adult Detention Center.
The Colts released a statement Sunday morning acknowledging the incident.
“We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.”
