Super Bowl LX Draws Massive Audience

NBC Sports has released the official numbers for Super Bowl LX. The Seahawks vs. Patriots game averaged 124.9 million viewers, making it the second-most-watched television broadcast in U.S. history, just behind last year’s Super Bowl, which drew 127.7 million viewers.

The game reached a peak audience of 137.8 million viewers in the second quarter, setting the highest single-quarter viewership in U.S. TV history. On Spanish-language television, Telemundo averaged 3.3 million viewers, marking the most-watched Super Bowl in U.S. Spanish-language history.

The Apple Music Halftime Show featuring Bad Bunny averaged 128.2 million viewers from 8:15–8:30 pm ET. The performance also shattered NFL social media records, generating over 4 billion social views within the first 24 hours, a 137% increase from the previous year. On YouTube, Bad Bunny’s halftime clips received more than 48 million views in the first 24 hours, surpassing the previous record held by Shakira and Jennifer Lopez.

NBC reports that more than 55% of all social views of the halftime show came from international markets, and the most-viewed clips have collectively been watched for over 115 years on social media.
